Contents: Preface (introduction to the Western-Eastern influence of art, biography of B. Feuerstein), over 20 scenic designs, including the legendary play by Karel Čapek R.U.R. On the reverse side of the title page, a handwritten dedication with the signature of B. Feuerstein to MUDr. Antonín Starý in Tokyo, June 9, 1927. Stamp on the cover "JAROSLAV HOŠEK". Torn cover (near spine), minor loss of the spine, slightly torn title page, 1 bent corner and slightly damaged edge of the last sheet. Provenance: from the collection of PhDr. Antonín Dufek.
