Paper slightly stained, otherwise very good condition. Together: ALIUS IDEM ("Always different - and always the same"). Hen(ry) Aston, Esq(uire). Copper engraving (etching) on handmade paper, 8.9x11 cm (printing area - oval), 9.5x12.5 cm (sheet), sign. bottom center in print: "Mordecai Sculp". Johann Peter von Ludewig (1668-1743) - lawyer and historian, since 1705 professor of law at the University of Halle. R. 1719 promoted by Emperor Charles VI. to noble status. Chancellor of the University of Halle since 1722.
