Box in Renaissance Revival style of dark purple magnesium glass, flattened globular shape on higher foot of circular base, removable lid with a finial in shape of a conical vase. Historicizing ornamental décor painted with white opaque enamel and gold, central motif of a man with dogs in a landscape. H. 23.3 cm. Both parts numbered "7.". Condition restored. Compare with: M.
