The anthology Ani labuť ani Lůna was intended as a protest against the official interpretation of K. H. Mácha`s legacy. The lawsuit filed by Mácha researcher Karel Janský against one of the authors, Bohuslav Brouk, and the publisher Otto Jirsák for `an offense against the protection of honor committed by the press` (the collage by J. Štyrský was also objectionable) led in the summer of 1936 to the temporary confiscation of the remaining stock (152 out of 2000 copies) of the anthology. Based on an out-of-court settlement in November 1936, Jirsák removed the incriminated collage and Brouk`s article from the returned copies, as well as the subsequent afterword and colophon. The anthology was then sold with the stamp `Po konfiskaci II. opravené vydání` on the cover.
