The selection from "Les Chants de Maldoror" was edited by Phillippe Soupault and Karel Teige. Translated by Jindřich Hořejší (song II-VI) and Karel Teige (song I). Illustrated by Jindřich Štyrský, the book contains 11 illustrations, probably lithographs. Typography, cover and boards designed by Karel Teige. Issued by Jan Fromek in spring 1929, Prague III, Vítězná 11. Priority copy, one of 25 copies on paper Van Gelder, in total 300 numbered copies, copy no. 42. Printed by Kryl and Scotti in Nový Jičín.
