Hardcover full-cloth binding with black embossed décor, spine with black letters. The magazine was published between 1925-1934. It primarily promoted publications from the Aventinum publishing house but also provided information about Czech and European cultural life. It included information about authors, translators, and illustrators, their biographies, interviews, reports, memoirs, and interpretations. The texts were accompanied by photographs, caricatures, and reproductions of artworks. Among the numerous contributors were Karel Čapek, Jiří Karásek ze Lvovic, Olga Scheinpflugová, Hugo Boettinger, and Vratislav Hugo Brunner. Provenance: from the collection of PhDr. Antonín Dufek. Slightly worn edges of the bindings, several slightly soiled sheets, yellowed edges, overall very good condition.
