TANKARD WITH A TIN LID
Germany, Thuringia, Dorotheenthal, 1733
Cylindrical jug for beer, handle and edge with a tin mounting, lid with an inserted medal for coronation of Leopold II (1790, designed by Johann Christian Reich) and a globular thumbrest, faience, white glaze, decorated with cobalt painted cartouche with a flower basket with black outline, manganese marbled background.
