INLAID CABINET "MARQUETERIE DE FLEUR"
Holland
17th century
Commode with three floors - top with two drawers - and a superstructure with richly structured interior. The floral motif creates a full-area décor composed of (at that time very rare) tropical wood and their burl wood. An exceptionally luxurious proof of the interior culture of the highest bourgeoisie from rich Hanseatic cities (Amsterdam?). 158x110x58 cm.
