Watercolor on paper adjusted on a thicker cardboard. Marked lower left in pencil "Otto Peters Graz. 97", lover right "Graz Waldhaus". 30.5x21 cm. If the number 97, shown on the left, can be considered the last two numbers of the year, then the small watercolour is a rarely preserved proof of the painting talent of a 15 years old boy, who in this very year was given the opportunity, thanks to the contribution of the Hlávek family foundation, to develop his undeniable talent at the Prague School of Art and Industry. It can be assumed that he prepared for his admission diligently and perfected his artistic expression by painting in the field (here in the vicinity of Graz).
